次 韵 述 古 过 周 长 宫 夜 饮
二 更 铙 鼓 动 诸 邻
百 首 新 诗 间 八 珍。
已 遣 乱 蛙 成 两 部
更 邀 明 月 作 三 人。
云 烟 湖 寺 家 家 境
灯 火 沙 河 夜 夜 春。
曷 不 劝 公 勤 秉 烛
老 来 光 景 依 奔 轮。
Ci Yun Shu Gu Guo Zhou Chang Gong Ye Yin
Er geng nao gu dong zhu lin
Bai shou xin shi jian ba zhen.
Yi qian luan wa cheng liang bu
Geng yao ming yue zuo san ren.
Yun yan hu si jia jia jing
Deng huo sha he ye ye chun.
He bu quan gong qin bing zhu
Lao lai guang jing yi ben lun.

Ten o’clock at night, nearby bells and drums

We are like two bullfrogs talking back and forth
Invite a third to join us: the moonlight.
Clouds and mist on the lake, houses surrounding the temple
Under torchlight, every night they entertain themselves on the sandy river beaches.
Why don’t we change our candle and just quietly walk around
Old age arrives like a fast spinning wheel, so let’s enjoy this landscape and opportunity.
