登 太 白 峰

西 上 太 白 峰
夕 阳 穷 登 攀。
太 白 与 我 语
为 我 开 天 关。

原 乘 泠 风 去
直 出 浮 云 间。
举 手 可 近 月
前 行 若 无 山。
一 别 武 功 去
何 时 复 更 还。

Deng Tai Bai Feng

Xi shang tai bai feng
Xi yang qiong deng pan.
Tai bai yu wo yu
Wei wo kai tian guan.

Yuan cheng ling feng qu
Zhi chu fu yun jian.
Ju shou ke jin yue
Qian xing ruo wu shan.
Yi bie wu gong qu
He shi fu geng huan.

Climb the Taibai Summit

Go west to the Taibai summit
Climb all the way via the western slopes.
Venus gives me my words to express
Opens the way for me to the Gates of Heaven.

I hope to ride the cool fresh breezes
Go vertical to emerge through openings among the clouds.
Raise my hand to touch the nearby moon
Travel where there are no other mountains.
Depart from the mountain
When can I return again?
