Late Evening Hours at the Baihua Pavilion, Gaze Into the Distance
Bai Hua Ting Wan Wang Ye Gui
Bai hua ting shang wan pai huai
Yun jing yin qing yan fu kai.
Ri se you yang ying shan jin
Yu sheng xiao sa du jiang lai.
Bin mao yu bing shuang ru xue
Xin xu feng qiu yi si hui.
Xiang ye yu gui chou wei liao
Man hu ming yue xiao chuan hu.
Late EveningHours at the Baihua Pavilion, Gaze Into the Distance
Pace back and forth this evening upon the Baihua Pavilion
Cloud shadows, shade and sunny patches come and go again and again.
Sun’s colors in harmony with most of the mountains reflections
Rain sounds, desolate rustlings arrive across the river.
After illness, some temple hair white as snow
Heart-mind remnants like the autumn season and its falling ashes.
Middle of the night, yet my melancholy is not yet finished
Bright full moon light, a small boat goes back.
