儿时，我珍藏着一块
绿色的小玻璃片
（它曾经是啤酒瓶吧）
每当烈日
要把世界融化
我就把玻璃片遮在眼前
哦，多美的世界
太阳，燃烧的火球
变成母亲绿色的绒线团
织呵
为天空织一件绸衫
为行人织一片浓荫
把风
织成清凉的溪水
懒懒地躺在软软的草地上
给躁的蝉鸣
蒙上一层
柔和的绿纱
我甜甜地笑了
这绿莹莹的夏
是从我纯真的心灵中
幻化出来的呀

A Green World
Bai Hong
As a child, I treasured a small
Bit of green glass
(It used to be a beer bottle).
Whenever the burning sun
Was about to melt down the world
I would shield my eyes with this bit of glass.
Oh, what a beautiful world
The sun, a flaming ball of fire
Would turn into a mother’s green skein.
Weave,
Weave a silk blouse for the sky
Weave a dense shade for people on their way.
Weave
The wind
Into a cool current of water
Lying lazily on the soft grass
Cover the noisy cicada cries
With a layer
Of soft green gauze.
I smile in delight
This brilliant green summer
Is on more than a fancy
Created by my pure heart.
